A 'HUGE DAY' for Anya was on 7 JAN 2010 when she got her AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP. One of her friends baked her this rather special---and symbolic---cake.
To help Anya celebrate this very special day, a number of her classmates at Kellogg School of Management and her co-workers at Deloitte Consulting arranged for a party in her honor at CITIZENS BAR in Chicago.
Two such friends in attendance were Jess and Colleen...
...along with Mono and Odeh.
In recognition of the special colors of RED WHITE, and BLUE for this occasion, Keith (the bartender) suggested 'White' Russians...
...along with BLUE shots of Hornitos TEQUILA and RED shots of BOURBON...
...would cover the requirements just perfectly.
Brian and Elizabeth---from the Deloitte contingent in attendance---thought these suggested 'Drinks of the Day' were PERFECT!
Several in this group (left to right) of Brendon, Colleen, Teddy, Jess, (Anya), and Ryan opted for the ol' standby of BEER or WINE.
In this photo, Ash and Teddy congratulate Anya...
...along with Adam and Britt.
In keeping with the overall 'theme' of the party, Anya is presented with a GIGANTIC HAMBURGER and FRENCH FRIES...
...the classic AMERICAN MEAL There is no doubt that Anya will long remember the large number of classmates and co-workers who took time from their busy schedules to join her in becoming an AMERICAN CITIZEN!
